โThe Hell of the Marianas is a unique and challenging event that showcases the beauty of Saipan while pushing cyclists to their limits,โ said Vince Seman, the raceโs organizer. โWeโre excited to welcome cyclists from around the world to participate in this yearโs race and take on the ultimate challenge.โ
The race has become an important part of Saipanโs sporting and cultural scene and has helped raise awareness of the islandโs unique natural beauty and cultural heritage. The event is a great example of how sports can be used to bring people together and make a positive impact. This 100km bike race takes you to hell and back on the toughest bike course in Micronesia. Begun in 2007, the Hell is considered the ultimate race with professional athletes arriving from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Russia, Australia, Guam, and elsewhere to participate.
The Hell of the Marianas features a 100-kilometer course that winds its way through Saipanโs hills, valleys, and rugged terrain. Participants must navigate steep climbs, treacherous descents, and rough roads, making it a true test of endurance and skill. The event is open to both amateur and professional riders, and prizes will be awarded to winners in each category. Participants will also receive a race t-shirt and other race swag.
Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, December 5th from 11:00AM – 2:00PM at Crowne Plaza. Your packet will include your event shirt, race timing chip, zip-tie (to secure your timing chip to your bike), bike number, helmet number, info sheet, and some goodies from our sponsors.
